Thinking of moving to the UAE? Here are a few guidelines related to opening a bank account which shall facilitate a seamless transition. A bank account is essential whether you are an employee or self-employed for crediting your salary or business income. Opening a bank account with ADCB is an easy process.

The documentation would depend upon the type of account you would like to open and ADCB Customer Relationship Officers & Relationship Managers stationed across its wide branch network would be more than happy to assist you. Prerequisites

  • Documentation would vary for UAE resident and Non-resident (For non-residents, requirements are listed below)
  • For UAE residence visa holders : Employment in UAE and minimum monthly salary of Dhs.5,000
What to bring :

Resident
  • Original passport with UAE residence visa. The residence visa should be valid for more than 30 days.
  • Original UAE Emirates ID
  • Salary certificate
Non-Resident
  • Original passport
  • Visit visa and page of passport with the entry stamp to UAE or e-gate card
  • Copy of 3 months Bank Account Statements stamped from the bank where funds are transferred to make the initial deposit or from the bankers in UAE or native country (should be valid for 30 days from the date of issuance)
  • Letter of Introduction from existing customer of ADCB with a relationship of more than one year

Procedure

  • You may visit ADCB uBank the new digital banking centre, and instantly open an account, print cheque leaves and get a credit card. ADCB uBank is located in Yas Mall and Al Wahda Mall in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
